“It is a truth universally acknowledged that a Shadespire player in possession of decent results must be in want of a blog.” – Jane Austen, probably
So, given that all the best Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire ™ players seem to have blogs a few of us up here in Sheffield decided we’d have a go at putting one together ourselves. While we might not have quite the amount of trophies as some, and there are no memes about us, we’d like to think we’re fairly good at competitive games and might be able to offer some interesting insights on some key aspects of the game.
Games Workshop’s Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire ®™ is still a young game, and the community and metagame haven’t really settled yet. Some of the more prominent voices have a particular view on how the game should be played that might not match up with everyone’s expectations – especially if they’ve come from a CCG background rather than a miniatures one. Hopefully we can offer a different perspective on things – yes it’s a game of fast paced arena combat, but that doesn’t have to mean aggro decks stomping on each other’s faces forever.
Like Games Workshop presents Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire, a Games Workshop production ®™ we’re just getting started. I guess come back later and see how things have developed or if we just give up on this idea in a couple of weeks?
I went to uni in Sheffield , love the city. Would love to hear your thoughts on the new warbands in Night vault.

It’s a great city. We’re probably going to be putting up some articles on the new warbands as they come out, as well as a more detailed look at the Nighthaunt and Cursebreakers after we’ve tried them out a bit more.
