Morgwaeths Blade Coven Shadespire had the Bloodreavers, Nightvault had the Godsworn Hunt, now it’s time for the Beastgraves take on fast but fragile aggression! I’ve been hyped for these agile and acrobatic death dealers since they were first teased, as they looked like exactly the kind of warband I enjoy playing. With high wound tough... Continue Reading →
By FaR My Favourite.
The time has come at last after FaR too long. The new Forsaken and Restricted list has been released and its FaR longer than any before. Looking through it i'm quite happy with changes and i'm sure its going to have FaR reaching affects on the meta. Without further ado lets get into the meat... Continue Reading →
Is the Lockdown Meta Better?
What does the meta look like with Hrothgorn and the Wurmspat now firmly part of the Beastgrave. Stuck inside many of us have been crafting decks using two expansions we had very little chance to get to grips with. I hope to give a quick run over some of the decks and strategies that have been brewed by the trapped denizens of the underworlds, in the hope to inspire many more new and creative builds! Are we still in an objective meta? Maybe.
Your FaRed!!!
In new ultra high resolution! Intro A new year brings a new update to the underworlds FaR list, and perhaps a welcome one to shake up the fairly engrained objective style meta that is currently ‘controlling’ (heh) the game. With noteworthy additions to both the Forsaken and Restricted sides it's pretty certain that the changes... Continue Reading →

Grand Clash Metagame – Mollog’s Mob
We're back with another look at the metagame from the recent July Warhammer World Grand Clash. This time, we'll be taking a look into the dank and slimy world of another one of the strongest warbands (certainly one of the strongest fighters at least) - Mollog's Mob. See my previous article on Stormsire's Cursebreakers for... Continue Reading →
A Grand Clash with Steel City – Day 1 of 2
Steel City, assemble. Intro - Mike This is the first in a two part article detailing Steel City’s exploits at the recent Warhammer World Grand clash. The normal Steel City team is technically myself (Mike Carlin aka grand troll supreme), Tom Bond, Freya Milligan and a stray Hobbit that seems to have escaped to Australia.... Continue Reading →
A Review of Reviews
Intro Every time an expansion comes out we at Steel City do a fairly in depth review of all the neutral cards wherein we talk about each card in detail and give it a rating from 1 to 5. These ratings are obviously just our opinion on how powerful the cards are but I thought... Continue Reading →
Cold and Calculated, a guide to winning with the Sepulchral Guard
Exposition My diabolical quest to win with every warband continued this weekend with the Sepulchral Guard being my tools of choice. I attended two separate tournaments, one at Wargames Emporium on the Saturday and another at Impact Wargaming on the Sunday. Through carefully considered play I managed to acquire the glass on Saturday but alas... Continue Reading →
